Mike Tyson Net Worth Is Dwarfed By British Boxing Superstar Anthony Joshua Who’S Now A Multimillionaire

Mike Tyson is still boxing royalty – but he’s not rolling in the cash anymore.

Having last fought in 2005, the 53-year-old has suffered major money issues.

Once worth in excess of £233m, it’s now thought he’s now down to his last £3m.

After he hung up his gloves Tyson’s spendthrift attitude led to bankruptcy in 2003.

He had amassed £18m in debts which included a £7m divorce settlement with his second wife, Monica Turner.

Tyson also had around £10.5m in unpaid taxes Stateside and £3m in unpaid British taxes.

The former heavyweight is bouncing back from his cash woes, though.

Tyson bagged lucrative roles in Hollywood, including memorable cameos in ‘The Hangover’, ‘Entourage’ and ‘How I Met Your Mother’.

He also revealed last year that he’d be getting into the fast-growing cannabis business.

Anthony Joshua , meanwhile, still has plenty to prove – although at least his back balance is healthy.

Despite still being only 30 years old, the Watford lad is one the richest fighters in British boxing history.

It’s thought AJ is worth an eye-watering £48m after turning professional in 2013.

Having seen off the legendary Wladimir Klitschko in 2017, Joshua became a sporting superstar.

His next fight against Joseph Parker earned the likeable ace £18m alone.

Nevertheless, AJ’s career is now hanging in the balance.

He will lock horns with Andy Ruiz again on December 7 in Saudi Arabia.

Ruiz stunned the boxing establishment on June 1 after flooring Joshua in round seven.

The portly Mexican has warned warned AJ that it won’t be an easy pay cheque.

“I have a lot of respect for Anthony Joshua,” Ruiz said.

“Outside the ring he is a very good man, but inside there are no friends… I will arrive in better condition – lighter, faster and more powerful.

“I have faith that we’re going to win and shut up more mouths.”
